Are you a recent graduate (or about to be) with some back-end WordPress experience? Have you worked with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Moz/SEMRush, or other Digital Marketing systems? Are you good at learning new technology and solving problems?
If so, and if you'd like to further develop those skills faster than you would in a corporate environment, our Digital Marketing Coordinator position might be a good fit for you.
This is the job for you if you're passionate about Digital Marketing and want to obtain client-facing experience with established business-to-business (B2B) companies and nonprofits that serve a wide variety of industries.
Note: only candidates currently living in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs will be considered for this position, as we are in our North Side office at least twice a week.
Job Responsibilities
- Build out blog posts, web pages and emails using WordPress, HubSpot, and other web content management and marketing automation systems
- Repurpose website content on social media
- Create graphics for websites and other marketing collateral
- Resolve website crawl and index errors
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO initiatives
- Create and edit Google Ads and other pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns
- While training is provided, an ability to self-teach yourself technology to solve client problems
- Track, report and analyze website analytics, initiatives and campaigns for clients
- Craft social media posts and build high-quality external links
- Assist with various client tasks as they arise
- Flexibility and an ability to juggle tasks is essential as no two days are the same
Requirements
- Recent (or soon to be graduating) college undergraduate
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good writing and communication skills
- Some experience with WordPress, HTML and CSS (though we are not hiring developers)
- Some experience with Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Bonus: some combination of experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google My Business, and Google Ads
