Public Communications Inc. (PCI) seeks a passionate Digital Marketing Coordinator to support its growing digital team on content development and amplification. This individual will support the team on execution of digital client programs, analyze results and report metrics.

In this role, you will:
  • Strategize and execute Digital Marketing campaigns that will tell our clients’ stories in engaging, visual ways across social media (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and more). You will provide community management and content development across 3-4 accounts, which includes both copywriting and creative development (graphics, short-form video, GIFs, Reels, etc.).
  • Support with as-needed projects ranging from email newsletter marketing, website content management, and digital advertising (Google Ads [display and search], Facebook Ads, X Ads, LinkedIn Ads and more).
  • Create and analyze reports to support the clients’ communications goals, including sources like Sprout Social, Sprinklr, X Analytics, Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, and native email marketing platforms.
  • Conduct SEO keyword research and infuse it within earned and owned client content (i.e., press releases, blog posts, webpages).
  • Conduct weekly research and stay abreast of digital communications trends; provide relevant updates to agency sectors and clients.
  • Guide and train agency staff on social media best practices and processes through internal presentations or creation of tip sheets.
  • Participate in creative and strategic ideation across accounts.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of professional experience (including internships) in social media, digital advertising, email marketing, website management and audience engagement, preferably in a public relations or marketing agency setting.
  • Intricate knowledge and experience using major ad and social platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, and natural curiosity in exploring emerging platforms like Threads and more.
  • Experience managing social media communities, developing engaging content and facilitating meaningful connections with followers.
  • Experience using social media management platforms (i.e., Facebook Business Manager, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Experience using graphic design and video editing programs to support social media content and ad development (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Express, Canva, iMovie, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Experience using website content management systems (i.e., WordPress, Squarespace, etc.).
  • Experience using email marketing campaign development and platform management (i.e., MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation.
  • Experience using analytic programs (i.e., Facebook Insights, X Analytics, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, RIVAL IQ, and native email marketing platforms).
  • Familiarity and usage of AP Style writing.
  • Ability to craft data-driven content.
Bonus Round (preferable but not required)
  • You have experience in video filming and editing.
  • Certifications such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Bing Ads, Facebook Blueprint and more.

Working conditions:
Day-to-day work is currently performed virtually but requires 2-3 days per month of work in our office and as-needed onsite client visits. This is a full-time position. May require some weekend and evening work.
