A Global Sports Brand is seeking a Designer (with a focus on content creation for the digital ecosystem) to join the Global Digital Design team.
Looking for someone who will join a team of creatives bringing content creation, product focused lifestyle shoot planning, on-set art direction (still & video) to our team. Not to mention a passion for sneaker culture and storytelling.
The Role:
On any given day as a Designer for Global Digital Design, your role will include planning photoshoots (creation of shot lists including all components of photoshoot creative direction), on-set art direction (virtual during Covid times, back on set once we’re able to), creating post shoot selects and selects decks, retouching notes, video editing creative direction notes and presenting your creative work to team leadership. This content will be leveraged across Brand digital and direct channels (sell-in tools to retailers / social / paid social / email / banners) and a knowledge of content best practices for end-in-mind use in these channels is necessary. All of this content will bring to life the Brand, our seasonal brand visual centers and our community.
We’re seeking someone with a collaborative attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset who takes initiative, isn’t shy to voice their point of view, has knowledge and passion for sneaker and youth culture and loves the Brand. The work will be challenging, never boring, and we expect you’ll be an integral part of the creative team bringing new digital experiences and solutions to the brand.
Who you'll work with:
In addition to the team of Content Designers you will be a part of, on a daily basis you will be collaborating with the functions on our Global Digital Design team consisting of copywriters project managers, experience strategists, producers and product teams.
Requirements:
- Passion for creating high-quality work
- Creative visual skill set able to translate Brand visual centers/style-guides and business strategies into easy-to-understand image and motion content to serve as communication pieces
- Someone who is resourceful and takes initiative
- Experience in creating content
- Experience in e-commerce content creation for (site/email/OLM) a plus
- Ability to concept and art direct photo shoots; ease working with product talent in front of and behind the camera
- Ability to socialize and present creative work to cross-functional partners and senior leadership teams
- Craft and develop Digital Content and storytelling with our Gen-Z consumer in mind
- A team player with a positive, hard-working attitude, able to inspire and challenge other team members
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Art Direction or Photography
- 3+ years’ experience in design or content creation for large retail e-commerce or key digital agency experience specific to the streetwear footwear/apparel industry
- Excellent Adobe suite skills
- Photo and Motion Post Production Knowledge
- Proficient or Figma
- Deep connection to streetwear culture and trend
