Boston Digital is seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our internal marketing team as a Cotent Marketing Intern. In this hybrid role, you will gain experience on a variety of Boston Digital's marketing responsibilities including content creation and building brand awareness using both outbound and inbound techniques. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you must understand the fundamentals of B2B marketing, show passion for your work, and crave constant learning and professional development. This role will be hybrid, based out of our Boston office with the opportunity to collaborate in-person 2-3 times per week. Ideally, you'd be able to start the internship now!
Responsibilities
- Perform market analysis and research on competition
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., search, social media, direct mail and web)
- Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Assist in any SEO related initiatives
- Take part in formal and informal training opportunities
- Assist in the creation of content for marketing channels i.e, blogs, video, email, landing pages and image
- Support the sales team by assisting in the creation and proofing of proposals, pitch presentations and sales follow up
- Work with human resources to create content supporting Boston Digital's corporate culture
Qualifications and Skills
- Local to our Boston headquarters with the ability to come in-person to collaborate 2-3 times per week
- Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
- Familiarity with major social media platforms for B2B (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, Premiere Pro,etc)
- Passion for content marketing and its best practices
- Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords) a plus
