The Digital Content Coordinator at the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (MSLC) serves as the primary point of contact for planning, intake, and coordinating the delivery of content across various digital player channels. As a vital member of the Digital Operations team, this role assists in coordinating digital engagement efforts, developing new initiatives, and collaborating with the Marketing team to gather requirements for product and promotional activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Partner with Marketing to translate product and promotional plans into Digital Content streams.
- Coordinate digital asset creation, review, and assembly across the Marketing and IT departments while ensuring that applicable brand and accessibility standards are met.
- Assist with copywriting that supports digital assets and coordinate review and approval loops to finalize content.
- Create specific plans for programs via content streams and campaigns that may span MSLC’s digital platforms including web, app, email, SMS, FAQ center, and push notifications.
- Regularly update and maintain Digital Content using the website Content Management System (CMS) ensuring updates are made in a timely manner, and content changes are accurate.
- Optimize the CMS for improved user experience, and scalability, implementing updates and enhancements to align with industry best practices and organizational requirements.
- Coordinate with technical resources to ensure that digital initiatives are implemented, tested, trackable, scheduled and expired.
- Coordinate with customer support personnel to ensure that new programs are well-trained and equipped to manage any inbound player inquiries.
- Act as a level of escalation for player support issues related to content streams.
- Partner with analysis and management staff to assess past campaigns and new digital features and enhancements to ensure that best practices and continuous improvement are formulated.
- Optimize Digital Content for user experience, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of and experience with using a CMS
- Marketing Degree or relevant marketing experience
- Experience with Digital Content and creative preferred but not required
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking ability
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Keen attention to detail
