The Development Coordinator is responsible for MCCH's Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system as well as supporting other MCCH development activities. The Development Coordinator will have primary responsibility for the MCCH monthly donor program, first time donor engagement and developing small to mid-level financial support for MCCH. The Development Coordinator must have an ability to interact with community members in a professional and engaging manner.
Please note that this is a hybrid role that will require onsite presence in the Rockville, Maryland office
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing MCCH's CRM database.
- Responsible for all financial donation data entry and reporting
- Work with Development Assistant to ensure all non-cash donations are entered correctly
- Process all credit card and Paypal donations
- Send out thank you receipts promptly for all donations made
- Produce internal weekly donation reports
- Coordinate with accounting to designate donations
- Pull donor lists as requested
- Analyze data and work with Director of Development to use analysis to plan development activities and guide donor retention and stewardship efforts
Manage, steward, and develop MCCH monthly donor program
- Track monthly donors and ensure continued participation in program
- Provide end of year donation report
- Work with Development and Communications staff to market and grow program
Develop small to mid-level financial support
- Coordinate stewardship plan for small to mid-level donors
- Refine and implement plan for various donor segments with emphasis on donor retention
- Track and engage workplace giving donors
Coordinate appropriate first time donor engagement
- Basic donor research
- Supporting Director of Development and Community Partnerships with major donor stewardship
- Support development of Young Adult engagement affinity group
- Contribute to other Development and Communications department team efforts as determined
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required
- Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT or other Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) tool is desired
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate in a professional and engaging manner
- Ability to focus on details
- Ability to keep confidential information
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
Salary Description
$50,000
