Job Description
Program Leadership is responsible for the planning and administering ERSEA and PFCE program services to ensure it meets MRDC HS requirements, local, state and federal regulations. By monitoring the implementation of Family and Community services, Enrollment process and professional development of the family advocate staff and other functions to provide a safe, nurturing, enriching learning and social environment for Head Start families, while working together with other services.
- Collaborate with all services managers to ensure a coordinated approach
- Ensure on-going monitoring, tracking, follow-up and analysis of Family and Community services, ERSEA and PFCE outcomes.
- Maintain record keeping and reporting systems, including service area plan, schedules, timelines policies and procedures for Family and Community partnership services in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee implementation of the PFCE framework to ensure systematic processes and procedures.
- Supervise ERSEA staff, monitoring performance, providing evaluations, facilitating goal setting and staff development
- Develop, maintain, and manage system to track the eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance of children to comply with federal and state program regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and four years of experience in a social Services field working with people from poverty background
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as performance standards, information memoranda and program guidance; ability to write reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of clients, employees or community partners
- Current driver’s license and vehicle available to travel
- Must obtain and pass a physical, TB test, and Criminal background checks to include: state, FBI, and child abuse
- Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English; effective communication skills, both orally and written.
- Ability to use data base software, Excel and Microsoft Office programs.
