Pomeroy is assisting our nationwide client identify a Desktop Support Technician to provide ONSITE Level 1 support to their end users. Our client is looking to add to their IT team in a Desktop Support capacity. The ideal candidate will have Desktop Support experience, be self sufficient and work independently as needed, have a go above and beyond attitude and be an excellent communicator with all levels of the organization. Ideal candidate will need to work in both Union City & Jackson GA locations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate technical support groups
- Provide technical support for employees and their desktops/laptops.
- Provide support and resolution for issues involving Hardware/Software, IP phone, Imaging, and Xerox support.
- Project work may include PC refresh, Xerox device upgrades, and O365 Migration.
- Customer service focused
- Mentoring team members
- Utilize Ticketing System to track trouble tickets
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in a Desktop support or Help desk role
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, hardware, operating systems, client-side networking
- Knowledge installing and supporting Microsoft Office, O365
- ServiceNow ticketing system
- PC break fix, imaging, & printer support (Xerox)
**$20-22 an hour, long term contract, 8-5 M-F**
~Qualified candidates must be able to pass a nationwide background check and 10 panel drug test~
