Project Overview / Purpose:
25MY P702 BEV Off Road Variant FTF Compatibility bracket development request with chassis structures team
Scope of Work:
Support Ford Underbody Structures Ongoing Product Development and Quality initiatives.
Support Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Plant Vehicle Teams (PVT), and Structures suppliers with quality issue root causal analysis, interim and permanent containment actions, and help define new quality methods to protect against reoccurrence.
Lead CR/Notice release through Change Control Process for any design/drawing updates deemed necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed, to define & ensure robust Underbody Structure designs are maintained.
Provide feedback to Structures Tech Clubs to drive standardization of Lessons Learned.
Deliverables:
Lead necessary Ongoing Product Development updates to Underbody Structure design updates for minor changes and quality assurance. Design Release experience required.
- Lead Design AIMS for minor program updates of GPDS Scale < 3
- Lead Design CR's resulting in Underbody Structure changes for minor programs of GPDS Scale < 3
- Support STA & PVT necessary reactions to supplier quality issues, including data gathering and analysis of designs
- Support CCRG discussions for any Supplier or Design Quality issues.
