Dermatology Receptionist

Conrad Petersen Dermatology is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist with a strong customer service background to join our growing team. This practice was founded in 2020 by Dr. Samantha Conrad and Dr. Erin Petersen. They have established a loyal patient following due to their exceptional quality of care and expertise. This collaboration aims to bring our patients a full-service medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology experience in a nurturing environment.

Our office has a nurturing environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with the practice team, patients, physicians, and management.
• Answer phone calls, address patient questions, and speaks in a courteous and professional manner.
• Check-in and check-out patients in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
• Collect patient payments for
• Accurately schedules, changes and cancels appointments.
• Assists in maintenance and cleanliness of facility
• Maintains knowledge of surgical procedures, esthetic services and product lines in order to provide accurate information to patients as needed.
• Effectively communicate with patients regarding practice policies.
• Basic understanding of health insurance policies

Skills and Requirements:

• Excellent customer service, communication skills and general etiquette.
• Ability to understand patient’s needs and concerns
• Ability to work both as a team member and independently
• Organized and attention to detail
• Proficient with medical terminology.
• Computer proficient. Preferred with electronic medical records (EMR) knowledge.
• Knowledge of skin care products and the dermatology industry strongly preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients on treatments, practice policies and procedures as well as with physicians/management regarding operations.
