Dermatology Medical Assistant - Remote

Responsibilities:

• Schedule patients for surgical procedures and answer any related questions patient may have
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies
• Perform data entry and maintain customer records
• Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction
• Follow call center scripts and guidelines to provide consistent service
• Handle customer complaints or escalations with empathy and problem-solving skills
• Meet or exceed call center metrics, such as call volume, average handling time, and appointments booked / tasks completed
• Energetic, positive, outgoing individual

• Worked in a Dermatology practice for a least 1 year
• Worked as a front desk receptionist

Skills:

• Be able to read notes from providers and schedule patients accordingly
• Ability to organize patient information while communicating to rest of remote team
• Multitask in a fast paced environment, able to take incoming calls while also working on multiple different projects throughout the day
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Proficient in data entry and computer navigation
• Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for handling healthcare-related inquiries
• Demonstrated phone etiquette and active listening skills
