Medical Assistant

Inviting a friendly, energetic, detail-oriented, and experienced Medical Assistant to apply for our team. You will be working alongside a team of professionals for a well-known, highly-regarded, dermatology practice that puts our patients above all else. This is a full-time position available.

Qualifications:

Customer service experience required
Must be computer literate
CPR certification is strongly preferred
Dermatology knowledge a plus
Ability to learn and understand medical terminology
Able to work at a fast pace, multi-task, and have strong attention to detail
Comfortable using an I-Pad

Critical thinking skills

Able to work on a team

Clinical duties include:

Recording patient's medical history on EHR
Educate patients about treatment and procedures
Preparing patients for provider's examination/assisting during exams

Prior Auth's
Assisting with surgeries
Collecting and preparing lab specimen
Preparing and administering injections
Dressing changes and suture removals

This is a full-time position. Office hours Monday-Thursday from 6:30-5:30 and Friday from 7:30 to 12:45 p.m.

Able to travel to our Port Orange, Orange City and New Smyrna Beach offices
