Dental Scheduling Coordinator
Work in coordination with other administrative staff to provide outstanding customer service by checking in patients, receiving calls, appointing patients to the appropriate schedule while booking for production and efficiency; as well as making outgoing calls for reminders and overdue appointments, and assisting patients with insurance questions.
An enthusiastic, hard-working multi-tasker with impeccable customer service skills should describe you. Must have dental office experience to be considered.
Requirements include:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced reception environment
- Answering phones, greeting patients, checking patients in and out, utilizing the dental software to schedule and process patients
- Providing friendly customer service and confident knowledge for handling patient questions/concerns
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients in person, phone, and email
- Working as a team with other administrative employees as well as clinical staff
- Knowledge of software including Softdent and Microsoft Office Suite
- Performing general office duties
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Experience with verifying patient insurance information a plus
- Understand account balances and take payments in person or by phone
Full-time, Monday - Thursday and occasional Fridays.
