Dental Receptionist

Our ideal candidate would have 1-2 Years of Front Desk DENTAL experience (1YR DENTAL FRONT DESK REQUIRED). We are looking for a team player who is comfortable greeting patients with enthusiasm. This candidate should be able to make our patients feel comfortable with treatment plans and dental insurance knowledge. Grand Dentistry currently has two locations located in downtown Chicago (River North and Loop). We are looking for someone who can work flexible part time or full time hours. Please apply ONLY if you have worked in the dental field as a front desk.

REQUIRED DAYS: MONDAY AND TUESDAY

Possibly Saturdays and other days can be added this will be discussed at the interview time.

Job Duties:

*Greeting patients/ Starting paperwork/ gathering insurance/ data entry

*Submitting claims

*Creating treatment plans

*Answering phones/ Scheduling patients

*Email correspondence with patients

*Collecting payments and copays

*Checking claim status

*Submitting requested information to insurance companies

*Dental Code Knowledge

*Claim Narrative knowledge

Preferred Qualities:

*Familiar with Dentrix Ascend software (or any Dentrix software)

*Bilingual in English and Spanish

*Ability to work Saturdays if needed

• Dentrix Ascend

Hours per week:

• 25-35

Financial Duties:

• Submitting insurance claims
• Processing payments
• Billing
• Purchasing office supplies
• Keeping the office tidy
