We are searching for an energetic, relationship-based, and self-driven front desk assistant to join our fun, close-knit team. Our office is run by a husband and wife dental team who are passionate about providing patient-centered, compassionate care. This is a long standing practice in the area and is known for the great care we take with our patients and employees. We are seeking an A team player who shares our desire to build relationships with our patients and create a positive experience for each person that comes into our dental practice. The current opening is for a full time Front Desk Assistant to greet patients, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist in other areas of the office as needed. You will be cross-trained in sterilization and flipping treatment rooms. Our schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 7:30am-5:00pm, with a 1 hour lunch. Wednesdays are typically 10:00am - 4:00pm.

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a welcoming manner
- Register new patients according to established office protocols
- Answer and manage incoming calls and messages, including responding and complying with requests for information, scheduling patient appointments as needed, confirming upcoming appointments, and recalls according to office protocol
- Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Clean and maintain a professional reception and office areas
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation and update patient information in the data system in compliance with privacy and security regulations
- Work with the dentists and assistants to ensure that scheduling proceeds in an effective manner
- Process records and information filled out by patients and enter these in a computer database
- Take initiative to help facilitate patient care by flipping rooms and operating sterilization
- Manage Social Media accounts and generate new content

Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: 1+ years in a dental office setting preferred
