Dental Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator

Stewart Dental Group is a niche, family centered, women owned, boutique, general dental practice near Uptown Charlotte; close to Charlotte’s best restaurants and social events. Simply put, we have a great time at work serving our patients and one another.

Four day work week, Monday - Thursday, 7:20 - 4:15 daily, 401K matching and PTO.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the Dentrix software
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using phone systems and dental software, preferably Dentrix
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical scheduling and patient service best practices
