POSITION OVERVIEW:
Crisis Response Agents operate as part of an advanced and comprehensive crisis prevention, intervention, and response team. Daily efforts help to ensure the safety, protection, and well-being of client company employees, leadership, and customers. This position requires a sophisticated construct producing a specially trained, highly skilled individual to meet the changing demands and threats in today’s world. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform onsite rapid deployment-ready low-visibility security response services.
- Manage a variety of crisis situations involving hostile actors, emotionally disturbed persons, mentally ill subjects, or criminal suspects.
- Provide immediate response to active shooter/active adversary emergencies.
- Provide armed response to life threatening crimes in progress.
- Utilize higher level tactical trauma care training to serve as first responder to medical incidents and emergencies.
- Conduct physical surveillance and surveillance detection activity.
- Provide area reconnaissance and response during alarm activations.
- Utilize situational awareness and threat recognition skills to achieve early detection of dangerous people or situations.
- Perform suspicious activity field investigations.
- Promote workplace safety and environmental risk mitigation through professional monitoring and employee assistance as required.
- Utilize specialized training in communicating with mentally ill or emotionally disturbed persons to manage, prevent, intervene in, or resolve high risk contacts.
- Provide hostile termination support.
- Conduct Person-of-Interest (POI) monitoring, tracking, management, and reporting.
- Provide special event security support.
- Conduct fire safety, bomb threat, and workforce evacuation management.
- Provide public safety/outside first responder support and on-scene coordination.
- Exhibit proper understanding of corporate protocol and etiquette.
- Exhibit proper understanding and application of use-of-force doctrine.
- Exercise de-escalation and conflict resolution skills as required.
- Perform routine and crisis communications as required.
- Perform job-related reporting and administrative tasks as required.
- Proactively assess and detect potential threats while remaining undetected.
- Provide timely and appropriately channeled escalations.
- Participate in CIRT training as required.
- Demonstrate responsibility for all equipment used in support of CIRT operations.
- Other duties and special projects assigned to support client activities.

- Excellent communication skills including fluency in English, both spoken and written.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:
- Required – Google Suite, MS Office proficient, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Have a general understanding of common technology platforms.
- Ability to make rapid notifications via common communication tools.
MINIMUM & DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HR218 or LEOSA current – REQUIRED.
- Prior law enforcement, military, or comparable security experience.
- Emergency, trauma, or medical training comparable to TECC, PHTLS, EMT.
- No criminal record or history of substance abuse.
- Ability to complete job-specific initial training and selection course.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Possess a foundational understanding of corporate security operations.
- Possess local security officer license and/or be active peace officer.
