We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join Dental our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical or dental setting and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork
- Update patient records in the electronic medical records system (eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, etc.)
- Assist with patient registration and check-out processes
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, or Dental Receptionist is required.
- Familiarity with dental terminology is required.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental scheduling software is desirable
Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.82 - $22.66 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
