Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Manager to join our team. The Front Desk Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk area, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk area and ensure smooth operations
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Verify insurance coverage and process necessary paperwork
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Oversee administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
