Demand Generation Manager

We want to bring onboard a Demand Generation Manager who has proven experience with demand and growth strategy and execution. You will collaborate with our product experts, support the sales team, and manage the relationship with our external marketing agency to increase conversion rates at every stage of the marketing and sales funnel. This role reports directly to the VP, Marketing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Translate the DefenseStorm positioning into relevant and personalized messaging. Partner with product marketing to understand buyer personas and tighten our unique selling proposition against specific audiences. In partnership with Sales, maintain our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) list and segmentation criteria, which will be used to support our Account Based Marketing (ABM) efforts.
  • Help bring better definition to key segments of our industry and align our marketing activities to deliver on those needs. Conduct market research to better identify target audiences and how to attract, using a variety of tools like Google Analytics, AdWords, Keyword Planner, etc.
  • Design and execute marketing programs to engage decision-makers and influencers at financial institutions. Put our marketing automation platform, Marketing Cloud (Pardot), to full use, executing and tracking lead generation & lead nurturing programs through email campaigns, content marketing, paid media, and social media channels.
  • Establish and manage PPC and social media ad campaigns that generate high-quality leads. Optimize paid campaign performance and make recommendations to increase conversions while reducing CPC.
  • Align with commercial teams to support our growth goals at every stage of the marketing-through-sales lifecycle. Set and deliver on targets for: Conversion rates at every stage of the funnel; New logo pipeline value; New logo sales cycle time; and ROI of marketing spend.
  • Manage the relationship with and activities of our external marketing agency, from strategy to execution. Collaborate with the marketing agency to create messages and content that map across the customer journey, so that we deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time.
  • Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision-making, next steps, and budgeting/planning. Collaborate with Sales Enablement to ensure the Marketing dashboard monitors KPIs for pipeline generation.
  • Manage and adhere to budgets for marketing services, media spend, etc.
  • Align work to support a robust events marketing plan (e.g., conferences, webinars, etc.).

Required Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B SaaS technology marketing.
  • Confident self-starter with a willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment, working autonomously, cross-functionally, and with the company’s leadership team. Proactive and positive team player with a willingness to learn, deliver and receive feedback, and tackle any tasks that arise.
  • Digital Marketing savvy with first-hand technical knowledge in all (or nearly all) digital marketing fields: Traffic generation (SEM, programmatic display, programmatic social, etc., email marketing, UX, and A/B testing. Experience with website analytics tools, with ability to track goals, report website metrics, and their impact on marketing strategy.
  • Experience in leading campaign operation across multiple channels and products. Strong program management skills and ability to manage several projects concurrently.
  • Hands on experience in ROAS optimization, digital media planning, tracking and conversion, and funnel optimization. Deep understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem, including experience with bid managers, ad servers and DSPS and a sophisticated knowledge of complementary marketing technologies such as CDPs, DMPs, decision engines etc.
  • Analytics mindset with ability to interpret data, drive strategy and focus activities. Experience using first and third-party data for segmentation, audience creation, targeting, personalization, and attribution
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability to engage and build trust with internal stakeholders, in particular Sales, Sales Enablement, Customer success
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, with an eye for presentation design and efficient material preparation skills.
