Day Shift Maintenance Technician

RISE Building Products has been developing technically advanced, affordable, synthetic fiber building products since 2005. At RISE Building Products, we work to preserve the environment. We recycle and repurpose post-consumer and post-industrial synthetic fibers, that would otherwise be sent to landfills, into synthetic cladding products: RISE Siding and RISE Trim. The advanced technology of synthetic fiber-based RISE Building Products makes our siding and trim wood replacement products look and feel just like real wood. Our product is manufactured in Mankato, MN, USA.

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks and repairs. You will be responsible for applying routine fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 4am-2pm, 5am-3pm, or 6am-4pm depending on candidate preference
• No rotating shifts!

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance as well as a trouble shooting and repair on industrial equipment
• Converse with equipment operators to diagnose problems with equipment
• Test faulty equipment and apply knowledge of functional operation to diagnose the cause of the malfunction
• Support plant repair projects
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals to solve equipment issues

Skills

• 5+ years of related experience, preferably in a production/ warehouse setting
• Basic understanding of wiring schematics
• Experience with PLC and VFD troubleshooting
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 – 50 per week
