Telework Information: This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
Our Technology Business Management Division (TBMD)/Enterprise Analytics and Data Services team is seeking an Information Technology Specialist I (IT Spec I) to design and develop Data Integration (ETL - extract transform load) programs, support many data analytics projects and self-service data delivery, design and develop the data warehouse and operational data store. Incumbent will learn about CalPERS business data and be part of the team that extracts business value from our data and drives our data mission using the CalPERS data & analytics platform.

Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
  • Experience with data warehouses, operational data stores, and data hubs
  • Experience programming with Oracle Data Integrator 11g
  • Experience in SQL programming & Experience using Kimball dimensional modeling techniques
  • Experience in software testing and data quality analysis
  • Experience in Data profiling, quality, and validation
