Automation And Integration Developer

Graphic Business Solutions (GBS) is currently seeking an organized and self-motivated problem-solver for the position of Automation and Integration Developer. This is a 100% in-office role. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify, champion, implement, and support computer Automation and Integration across the business.

A successful candidate for this position will have proven experience in the defining, development, testing, and maintenance of automation solutions, scripts, and Integrations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task, the ability to translate business requirements, the ability to adapt quickly to new environments, and the ability to use creativity to solve difficult problems as a key member of the software development team are all required for success in this role.

Essential responsibilities and characteristics of this position include the following:

• Analyzes existing business processes to identify areas for Automation and Integrations.
• Designs, develops, tests, and implements highly complex automation solutions using a variety of technologies and platforms.
• Leads collaboration with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure automation solutions meet their needs.
• Troubleshoots and resolves automation issues to ensure business continuity.
• Provides guidance and support to business users on the use of automation solutions.
• Continuously evaluates and improves automation solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stays informed of emerging trends and technologies in pre-press processing and development.
• Has a passion for working with technology and excitement for creating high-quality products that empower people.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Familiarity and/or willingness to learn Automation and RIP, preflight, and CRM software like Esko Phoenix, Enfocus Switch, Callas PdfToolbox, HubSpot, Customer’s Canvas, etc.
• Knowledge and skilled usage of Adobe Creative Suite in a PC environment.
• Working knowledge of digital print processes and experience in print file preparation.
• Experience with one or more popular programming languages – JavaScript, C#, Python, Java, Perl, etc.
• Experience working with REST APIs and Postman.
• Experience with SQL and relational database providers such as MySQL, MSSQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent shifts in areas of focus.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
• Ability to collaborate in a small and productive development team.
• Ability to follow directions, remain focused, and communicate detailed information.
• Passion for automation is a must.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Print Production and Pre-Press
• Expert knowledge of vector and raster files, CMYK, and RGB workspaces along with the creation of print-ready production files
• A keen eye for detail.
• Exposure and understanding of Agile Methodologies.
• Proficient with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Desired Education:

Coding Bootcamp, Associate's degree, or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not required.

Work Hours:

Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with the flexibility to meet business demands as needed. This position does not require travel.
