POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our online school as an At-Risk Data Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, implement, and manage the At-Risk Data Verification process, aiming to identify all at-risk students. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate documentation for our At-Risk student population.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- In-depth knowledge of Texas education laws and regulations, particularly those related to at-risk student populations.
- Experience working in an online education environment or a strong understanding of online learning platforms.
- Proven experience in identifying and supporting at-risk students.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations related to At-Risk student populations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex information to different stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and software.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Candidates with bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English will be prioritized.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with personnel and team management, logistical planning, and records research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides, databases, data entry, and spreadsheet functions.
- Experience with restorative justice practices and trauma-informed care.
- Knowledge of online tools and technologies to enhance communication and support services.
- Familiarity with Texas Virtual School Network (TXVSN) or similar online learning platforms.
- Experience with student information systems or data management systems.
- Familiarity with online education platforms and their data structures.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Texas state certification in Education, School Counseling, or relevant certification and experience in education (a teaching environment) is preferred.
