We need a confident, well-spoken Part-Time Customer Service/Sales Representative/Facility Assistant to provide excellent customer service to further sales goals and the needs of our tenants.
Candidates with strong communication skills who make customers feel welcome will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. You will ensure that customers leave our facility satisfied. You play a key role in our success!
In this role, you will assist the General Manager in pursuing leads for new customers and building our business, as well as providing ongoing customer support to our current tenants and potential customers. This role includes helping with special projects, assisting with events, and assisting in a variety of facility needs.
The Customer Service / Sales Assistant is responsible for assisting the General Manager in pursuing leads for new customers and building the Store It business, as well as providing ongoing customer support to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers and tenants,
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Provide accurate information (e.g., product features, pricing, and benefits) to facilitate purchasing
- Provide customer service that is above and beyond expectation of client
- Schedule and execute customer tours and complete sales process with potential clients
- Deliver accurate customer information into CRM to support optimal customer reporting and lead follow up
- Maintain a professional and safe environment for customers
- Other duties as assigned
Greet and direct new customers and tenants – must have training and coaching skills to educate tenants and customers on our integrated customer management relationship (CRM) system and smart entry app, facility usage and overall operations.- Assist General Manager in daily operations – special projects, event support, and facility appearance.
- Provide accurate information (e.g., product features, pricing, and benefits) to facilitate purchasing.
- Answer customers’ questions about specific storage needs
- Coordinate with team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Provide feedback to the Store Manager on customer interactions.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Basic computer and math skills
- Team player and positive attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Required to sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop.
Environment
Work is performed indoors, in an office setting.
