COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is not in a collective bargaining unit.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Finance & Treasury (OFT), Revenue Operations Division. The incumbent performs various customer-related duties for OFT and serves as a teller, receiving and depositing revenues and receipts for all District of Columbia Government agencies. Duties include, but are not limited to: scanning documentation and payments into multiple systems; processing and disbursing cash items; registering totals and preparing processed cash, checks, money orders and credit cards for deposit; examining documents presented for payment from the public; obtaining payments and performing daily settlement of monies collected; reconciling daily transactions to locate and correct errors; receiving and processing bulk deposits; and proofing and validating receipts to journal entries and reconciling discrepancies. Incumbent will rotate to different sites as deemed necessary or scheduled by the Customer Service Operations Manager. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of general work experience performing duties related to banking, cash handling and Customer Service experience. Clerical and administrative experience desired.
All applicants must be flexible with worksite location as the position will rotate to various sites throughout the District. The location schedules are Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm & 8:30am - 5:00pm and Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30 pm & 8:30am - 5:00pm. This position is not eligible for telework or alternate work schedule (AWS).
Specialized Experience
Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.

SALARY REDUCTION OF REEMPLOYED ANNUITANTS:
An individual selected for employment in the District Government on or after January 1, 1980, who is receiving an annuity under any District government civilian retirement system, shall have his or her pay reduced by the amount of annuity allocable to the period of employment as a reemployed annuitant.
