Role Description: As a Customer Service Representative at Hegens, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales department by serving as a dedicated point of contact for orders, sourcing, logistics, and account coordination. Working closely with your assigned manager, you will oversee contract terms, pricing, and fulfillment, with a primary focus on capturing rental equipment orders and ensuring timely delivery to customers. In addition, you will actively participate in activities aimed at building customer trust, fostering retention, and driving revenue growth across all business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order processing, and account management, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives from all business units to source equipment, arrange transportation, and develop orders accurately across all service locations.
- Provide customers with viable equipment alternatives and solutions if certain items are unavailable, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and flexibility.
- Utilize jobber and other platforms to maintain high familiarity and proficiency, streamlining order processing and enhancing customer experiences.
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability and expand customer equipment mix, proactively recommending products and services that align with customer needs and preferences.
- Generate equipment, on-rent, and invoice level reporting for customers as requested or scheduled, ensuring transparency and accountability in all transactions.
- Respond to and address customer feedback surveys and objections in a timely and professional manner, striving to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Customer Service, sales support, or related fields, preferably within the equipment rental industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in utilizing software applications such as UR One, UR Control, Total Control, mobile apps, and Sales Force.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions to customer inquiries and challenges.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree not required however equivalent experience preferred.
