Reporting to the Underwriting department supervisor, this position is responsible for performing all customer support functions in relation to insurance policy renewals, new insurance applications and changes to existing policies. We are looking for a CSR who will assist Underwriters with their workloads and other management, as needed. You will assist customers with questions and follow up with clients to request additional underwriting documentation and updated information.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will work with our proprietary data base and utilize Excel to input and track detailed underwriting documentation. You will be responsible for correspondence to policyholders and will input short, concise notes in databases. This position will have the primary responsibility for answering incoming phone calls and inquiries for the underwriting department in a courteous, professional and proficient manner. Excellent communication skills and Customer Service are required!

Based in Urbandale, Iowa, R&A Risk Professionals is the Managing General Agent for our parent company PMMIC Insurance. PMMIC’s primary line of business is pollution liability coverage for petroleum storage tanks. We provide all administrative, accounting, underwriting, sales and claim services for PMMIC.
