Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is detail oriented to join our small team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner
- Accurately process customer orders and requests for quotations
- Maintain customer records and update customer information in CRM and Quickbooks as needed
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Assist with the preparation of sales and marketing materials
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer needs are met
- Identify opportunities for improving Customer Service processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service role, preferably in the metal hardness testing industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
