Base Salary: $18 - $20 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Expected Hours: 40 per week

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Employment Status: Nonexempt

Shift and Schedule: Monday – Friday (Daylight hours)

Job Summary:

Growing Aviation company located in White Oak, PA seeking a Customer Service Representative with excellent communication skills. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for answering calls, providing product information, and helping the customer by being informative, empathetic, and eager to quickly solve a customer's problem. Must be willing to listen, learn, and resolve customer inquiries.

Duties Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field Preferred.
  • Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts.
  • Able to concentrate on multiple problems at once.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to answer the phone, listen actively, relay information, and type basic information simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused for positive customer experience and resolution.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
