SalaryAs the Sales and Customer Service Representative you will grow existing accounts, develop new customers, and assist the sales team with requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Input sales orders. Enter and follow-up on web-based leads and orders.
- Maintain and update web listings, adding content, pictures and updated prices.
- Follow-up on customers’ inquiries and requests for quotes.
- Assist with quotes, samples, and product data requests.
- Assist with developing content for websites & social media campaigns.
- Solicit potential opportunities, including customer calls.
- Identify trends in customer satisfaction and product purchases.
- Stay abreast of commercial interior design and acoustic products in the marketplace.
- Expand and maintain all customer information in CRM software.
- Prepare and distribute product samples and product literature.
- Stay current on market pricing structures and keep customers competitive.
- Execute quotes, shipments, and info feedback in a timely manner.
- Research products, vendors, and items as needed.
- Prepare freight quotes upon request.
- Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts.
- Handle issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company.
Qualifications
- 3 or more years’ experience providing Customer Service / sales support in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Specific experience with building or insulation products a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required, College degree preferred.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, ERP software (i.e. Sage/MAS, Act, Constant Contact)
- Internet and Social Media experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, fast learner, and impeccable business etiquette.
Compensation
- Salary base is $45-$50k annually, plus commission
- Hours are Mon –Fri 8 am – 5pm
- This is a direct hire or temp to hire position
