In the last couple of years, we have acquired a processing plant in Homedale and are now supplying the best beef in the valley, locally and responsibly raised, to restaurants, food services, and consumers throughout the Treasure Valley of Idaho. We believe in local, responsibly raised meat for local people. We are at the forefront of the farm to fork movement.
We are looking for an experienced inside Sales and Customer Service Representative to work out of our Homedale facility. While not an absolute necessity, it would be ideal if you are fluent in both English and Spanish.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting our outside, wholesale sales efforts by:
- Entering new wholesale clients into our online ordering system.
- Placing welcome calls to our new wholesale clients and assisting them with their initial login to our online ordering system.
- Fielding calls from our wholesale clients and helping them place orders, manage deliveries, and other general Customer Service activities.
- Organizing daily deliveries for our drivers.
- Reaching out to new prospects to set appointments for our outside sales reps to conduct.
Supporting our online retail efforts by:
- Calling new subscribers to welcome them.
- Answering calls from clients to adjust their subscriptions, manage deliveries, and handle questions, concerns, or complaints.
- Proactively calling past clients and recent cancelations to find out what we can do better and see if we can win them back.
Supporting our storefront sales by:
- Welcoming visitors to our shop and assisting them to purchase products and services we offer.
- Running our point of sale (cash register) system to transact on-site purchases.
Managing our overall sales efforts by:
- Collecting and filing all client paperwork and receipts.
- Producing, tracking, and collecting on invoices.
- Keeping up with our computerized CRM’s and sales systems.
- Running reports for weekly Sales and deliveries.
- Meeting weekly with our Sales and marketing team, providing input on initiatives and plans, and working with the team to reach our Sales and business goals.
Qualifications:
- You must have at least 5 years of Sales and Customer Service experience.
- You must have good telemarketing skills, both inbound and outbound.
- You must have good computer skills, with experience using customer relationships management systems, accounting programs, and point of sale systems. Experience with standard office software is also a must.
- You must have an energetic attitude and a great work ethic.
- You must have a clean background – no criminal past and no current drug or alcohol problems.
- It would be ideal if you are fluent in both English and Spanish, though not a requirement.
- It would be ideal if you have some experience in the cattle, beef, or grocery industries, though not a requirement.
Compensation:
- Base pay of $22 - $26 per hour, depending on experience. ($45K to $54K per year)
- Bonus pay of up to $18,000 per year based on sales results.
