The IT Customer Service Assistant is responsible for providing first-level technical support to SBH end users. This includes answering phone calls, responding to email inquiries, and providing remote assistance to users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as excellent Customer Service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support to end users via phone, email, and/or chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and software issues
- Document end user interactions and resolutions in IT ticket system
- Perform routine maintenance and updates
- Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies
Requirements
- Associate's degree in IT or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support
- Epic security knowledge
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Related IT Certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.)
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows, Mac, iOS and Android operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and communication skills
