Coordinates the construction efforts through in-house and contract labor for new construction and rebuilding projects. Responsible for construction personnel safety and the quality of work performed. Acts as a medium between contractors, workers and senior project managers. Can carry out the inspection of construction site and material, keeps a tab on the documentation, generates and updates the project files and reports. Supervise and control most the financial aspects, contracts and agreements relating to the multiple construction activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Help coordinate Smaller Projects (FPS, RPS, stocker additions…) to ensure PO’s are issued to proper vendors/sub-contractors. Submit RFQs for sub-contractors to get quotes for awarding contracts. Put together installation schedules, ICEs and help site management with scheduling vendor work. Ensuring projects are staffed properly across multiple sites. Ensure Projects are running per budget and reconciling all invoices for the projects. Responsible for ensuring assigned projects have all the necessary installation tools and jigs.
• Ensure drawings are sorted, scanned and shipped to the Project Site. Manage calibration of equipment (multimeters, wafer sense, etc.). Manage the storage cages in the office.
• Coordinating training classes for the 2940 Department and ensuring all Associates are up to date on Safety training and Project training with the Operation Managers.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Travel is required to different customer sites that may involve overnight stays
• Site assignments may include working out of town for longer periods of time
• Lift 50 Lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
• Position requires the wearing of a uniform in a cleanroom environment at customer site
• Must follow safety guidelines established for work area and wear protective clothing when exposed to hazardous materials. Conform at all times to customer’s safety and cleanliness policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Will need to follow and understand posted work rules and procedures.
EDUCATION
• High School Diploma / Associate Degree in Technical (Mechanical or Electrical) field is a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS
• OSHA 30
• Control of Hazardous Energy - Lockout/Tagout
KNOWLEDGE (Equipment, Tools, Principles, Software, Marh, etc.) & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge:
• Working Knowledge of Clean room Safety Requirements
• Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
• Competent Person Training for Fall protection
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning, project management and program implementation
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and relationships with senior management, customer and project/site management team.
• Ability to apply business acumen to implement technical solutions with emphasis on cost/benefit
• Computer literacy in word-processing, spreadsheets, database and Power Point presentation software packages is required
Computer Skills:
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Project)
• Windows OS
Experience:
• Developing, implementing and reviewing Pre-Task Plans for contractors and subcontractors
• Previous semiconductor experiences (preferred)
