Summary:
The Creative Team is the guardian of the beloved Book of the Month’s brand. Our Project Manager will be the operational owner of our work by intaking, organizing, and assigning work that is briefed by other stakeholders and teams in the most effective manner. As the sole source of Creative operations at the company, our ideal team mate should possess an ambitious desire to run an effective process, get things done, build relationships, and learn the business, so that our Creative output shows up top notch and on time throughout the customer journey.
What you will be doing…
- Execute the creative briefing process by translating requirements from various stakeholders into well organized creative to-dos that can be executed on by the creative team.
- Manage all aspects of multiple projects and flow work at the same time by utilizing a well-organized process implemented through a project management tool.
- Act with urgency and command with a bias for explicit communication to solve roadblocks.
- Reduce Creative turns: Sit in on creative review sessions; take the feedback and turn it into actionable feedback for the creative team.
- Liaise with external resourcing partners as needed based on incoming priorities, assignment, and needs.
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes and capabilities.
- Collaborate effectively and iteratively across the company by building strong relationships.
What you should have…
- 3+ years work experience, including project management or creative production experience at a creative agency or reputable in-house brand.
- Experience executing a wide variety of communications deliverables, including but not limited to: social media, creative campaign development, video, websites, banner ads, email, CRM, live events
- Experience building production timelines and working within budgets.
- You are organized, forward-thinking, self-starting, positive and deadline-driven.
- You are a wizard of Asana and Google drive.
- Adept at navigating various working styles (slacking or email vs in-person comms).
- An overall want to build close relationships with your colleagues to achieve the best outcomes possible. Confident and to-the-point when communicating with executive partners.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000
