We are a fast-paced, growing, boutique marketing agency with over 20 years of experience and a central office located in New York’s Hudson Valley. We are looking for a Project Manager who is eager to join our dedicated team of smart, flexible, self-motivated and creative thinkers; someone who is eager to learn and lead by example and who brings confidence, level-headedness and organization to every task.
As a Project Manager at Ashworth Creative, you’ll play an integral role in web design and development, graphic design and integrated marketing campaigns – which include advertising, videos, websites, marketing collateral – for clients across multiple industries including healthcare, manufacturing and consumer goods. The role requires the ability to confidently engage with clients, guiding them through each process, addressing their inquiries, and delivering a quality product that exceeds expectations. Effective communication skills are vital in navigating websites and design projects to successful completion.
This is a flexible, part-time position with the opportunity to move to full-time after 3-6 months. The candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely, on a hybrid schedule or in-person, depending on their preference. Guidelines for each of these work scenarios will be discussed further along in the interview process.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between agency team members, agency partners, and assigned account/project stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with our team members and vendors, ensuring adherence to production schedules and maintaining high-quality standards throughout tasks.
- Work in tandem with the Lead Web Developer and Creative Director to strategize detailed scopes of work, including requirements, timelines, and daily tasks and execute them effectively.
- Take charge of overseeing website projects and retainer clients for assigned accounts, ensuring their progress remains on course.
- Maintain time tracking and utilize Project Management Software to generate comprehensive project reports.
- Willingness to help the team by researching music, images, and content for video projects and advertising campaigns etc.
- Display confidence in client interactions, conducting presentations, addressing technical inquiries, and showcasing business acumen by proposing additional projects to strengthen client relationships.
- Demonstrate strong communication and adept copywriting skills essential for effective client engagement.
- Exhibit a keen eye for detail and lead comprehensive quality reviews across all projects to ensure deliverables meet our high standards.
- Contribute to business development efforts as required, leveraging your expertise and insights to drive growth opportunities.

Required Skills:
- 5+ years industry experience needed, preferably within a digital or creative agency & with a background in working on multi-channel deliverables and campaigns.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Demonstrated ability in content creation or copywriting.
- Ability to proactively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects within time constraints and with strong attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work autonomously, especially if intending to work remotely.
- Good listener and note taker.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in English required, additional language proficiency is welcomed but not required.
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
