The range for this role is $17.79 - $22.60
Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 5% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.
Interested applicants must be willing to work onsite at least 3 times per week in our Melbourne, FL office.

The Job
The Cost Strategy Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Provider Contracts Manager and Negotiations department. This job is ideal for those who enjoy a fast-paced and collaborative working environment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate, prepare, and disseminate daily leads for Negotiations Administrators
- Prepare, review, and transmit negotiation correspondence to medical providers
- Manage correspondence from providers and/or members, fielding appropriate documents and messages to Negotiations Administrator for their review
- Contact providers and members as appropriate to follow-up on status of negotiation cases
- Act as department liaison with outside vendor(s) in communicating key needs pertaining to sensitive negotiations, following-up on status as appropriate
- Create, update, and log negotiation records with key data points pertaining to dollar savings, status updates, and negotiation agreements
- Accurately transmit finalized negotiations case data to bill processing department for timely sharing
- Research and analyze discrepancies
- Analyze department processes and collaboratively work with team on implementing improvements
- Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefs
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills - able to coherently, intelligently, and grammatically articulate, both verbally and in written form, key processes and outcomes to members and providers
- Strong analytical skills - ability to diagnose complex problems and issues with data not easily understood
- Strong computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Netsuite, etc.
- Strong reading and comprehension ability - must be able to accurately receive and relay information between various parties
- Planning and organizing - ability to work efficiently and effectively without supervision in order to meet deadlines, adapting appropriately when faced with competing priorities
- Excellent team working skills - ability to collaboratively work with peers and management to maintain a positive and cohesive work culture
- Can type at least 30 words per minute
- Detail oriented - must be able to accurately input data and metrics across multiple systems

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma with 2-3 years' experience in an administrative assistant/support role required.
Medical industry experience is preferred.
