The Corporate Scheduling Specialist is the subject matter expert for all skill sets within the call center. The specialist will regularly sit with each team member within the department, ensuring all team members maintain proper processes. This position monitors daily operating activity of the Call Center, making any adjustments to individual education needs resulting from quality reviews and changes to process. The specialist will coordinates training and evaluates performance with both new hires and existing team members, constantly directly communicating with leadership. He/she conducts competency audits of both system notes as well as call recordings and will provide feed back to the assigned team members as well as track and share with leadership. The specialist will design and be responsible for education schedules for all team members within Corporate Scheduling. The specialist will serve as a resource to the entire call center for best practice processes and work directly with leadership on the communication, and implementation of process changes. These functions include Scheduling and Insurance Verification with the coordination of efforts with departments and physician offices.
Responsibilities
Ensures ongoing education of the Call Center to ensure work is being processed efficiently and accurately. Understands all aspects of scheduling protocols and processes for departments within Baptist Health Care and BH Surgical Services. Performs Quality Assurance (QA) on all team members per Departmental guidelines and provides exception reports to staff and Management. Completes all divisional education requirements in a timely manner. Effectively communicates departmental, organization, and industry information to staff.Assist in other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department and organization. May be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
