This position will be remotely based within the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build out event registration sites using CVENT; work closely with IT to ensure seamless interface of fundraising platform (TeamRAISER) where relevant for certain events. 10%
- Develop event messaging with guidance from the director of global events and senior director of public engagement (e.g., welcome emails, summary overview of event) and coordinate with hotel or conference venue to obtain and upload site maps, transportation details, etc., and other duties as assigned by the director of global events. 10%
- Monitor event registration site (CVENT) daily. Run reports as needed to review and confirm workshop attendance numbers to leaders and/or financial reports. Must possess the ability to analyze these reports for accuracy. 15%
- Provide timely and excellent customer service for event registration and general information inquiries that come in via email or through the event portal. 20%
- Provide training to support staff, such as contractors or interns, on modifying registrations and responding to event and/or conference inquiries. Ensure that support staff always have the most updated information to respond to inquiries with correct information. 10%
- Manage the scholarship application process for the bi-annual affiliate conference. This includes responding to inquiries for applications, sending award letters, and maintaining an accurate report of scholarship amounts for reimbursements. 5%
- Manage all aspects of volunteer and corporate partner registration for the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project (both pre-event and onsite) working closely with the host affiliate and key internal departments. 20%
- Collaborate with the director of global events and finance team on event financial processes (invoices, payments, refunds) and revenue reconciliation. 10%
Key Requirements:
- Associate degree in administrative management/event management or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a meeting professional handling strategic event management from a programmatic standpoint, an administrative operational standpoint and/or volunteer operations.
- Proficient in CVENT registration software and Excel.

For work locations in the US, the salary range for this position is between $53,000 – $79,000 per year. The target hiring range for this position is $56,000 – $63,000 per year.
The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.
