Position Summary

The Corporate and Special Events Coordinator position at Eco Caters is based on facilitation and management of all areas around the cultivation, coordination and execution for outbound and inbound sales with a focus on building corporate portfolios and Special Events. This position will have a primary focus on corporate account sales and management. In addition you will be responsible for those within your portfolio’s major Corporate and social events. There will be a focus on driving daily activity, tracking and accounting through KPI’s and weekly scorecards for the individual and corporate portfolio as a whole to continue to grow our corporate partnerships and overall monthly recurring revenue. There will be a streamlined communication to the Director of Sales and VP for updates and weekly calls for strategy, goal setting, forecasting and activity.

Market verticals that fall under the scope of the Corporate and Special Events Coordinator include Corporate breakfast and lunch programs, Corporate Events and Social events. This role will work in collaboration with the Director of Sales and VP for coaching and further personal, professional and financial growth to continue on the path of management development.

It will take a self-motivated individual willing to dedicate additional time to support our sales quotas as related to our market and national goals. Our goal is to generate, based on a growing monthly quota, the revenue necessary to hit the assigned annual goal. Success of this role will be supported through helping the team in a variety of lead generating activities inclusive of but not limited to cold calling, networking events, linkedin, social media, lunches, and referrals from existing clients. Organization and time management will be critical in the success of this role.

Major Responsibilities

Create new leads: Build new networks. Attend industry related networking and chamber events, . Use online platforms like LinkedIn to build bridges. Create awareness through personal pipeline. Utilizing all company lead generating activities.

Manage Pipeline: Build pipeline daily. Respond to all assigned inbound leads and follow ups within proper time frame as instructed per market. Keep extreme detail to stay organized

Event Execution: All coordinators are expected to be fully responsible for all of their booked events. This includes but is not limited to all staffing, ordering, rentals, set up, breakdown and successful execution needs. This includes the coverage of the captain role, where if one has not been scheduled it is expected to be the responsibility of the coordinator.

Key Performance Indicators: Coordinators are expected to meet all KPI expectations. Daily, weekly and monthly, coordinators are responsible and expected to keep up with all activities identified within the KPI scorecards provided by management. KPI’s are subject to change.

Sales Quotas: Coordinators are expected to keep up with all expected revenue quota’s both during the initial on boarding 90 ramp and thereafter, throughout their career at Eco Caters.

Organize and Implement Sales Strategy: Build a 30/60/90-day sales plan with goals. Install plan, and hit milestones.

Manage/Build Venue Relationships: Contact existing venues and potential venues. Build relationship and maintain. Attend networking events and catered events in order to add new venues and maintain quality at existing venues.

Clear Communication: Understand resources, deadlines, and workload and effectively communicate to owner and upper management status of department.

Qualifications

  • Effectively build, install, and operate sales strategy
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective Corporate and Simply Lunch Clients
  • Expert communication/presentation skills

Compensation

  • $50,000 - $60,000 base salary plus commission
  • Variable commission structure based off of Revenue Base (100% of Food and Beverage and 25% of Non-F&B) - this plan is subject to change.
  • All F&B related costs must hold a minimum of 25% margin
  • 90 Day Review
