Position: Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing

The Denlea Company is a hospitality management company within Central and Eastern Washington with a current portfolio of 6 Best Westerns and one independent hotel. We enjoy the challenge of operating in rural markets with primarily agricultural economies.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an individual to provide diligent, hands-on leadership and impetus to our tenured team of Sales personnel.

Your Role:

· Interface with property level Sales Managers on a regular basis and attend weekly sales meetings. Requireddriving is currently around 150 miles per week, but subject to change.

· Train sales staff, consistently evaluate sales efforts, and conduct annual reviews.

· Direct sales staff on local cold calls and coordinate, implement, and lead out-of-area sales blitzes.

· Lead semi-annual Sales Summits with all property sales staff.

· Train property personnel (primarily front desk) to collect accurate information, properly quote rates, and capture all incoming business.

· Provide rate recommendations for extended stay, group, and local negotiated corporate accounts and track the effectiveness of all LNR accounts issued by each property (including RFP’s).

· Monitor customer service surveys for trends.

· Optimize hotel sales through social media marketing efforts and market segment analysis.

· Develop high proficiency in property management system(s) utilized by company.

· Review and manage each property’s online presence and bolster digital image.

_ Helpful pre-requisites:_ Hospitality background, Microsoft Office Proficiency, familiarity with effective sales strategy, STR familiarity, knowledge of competitor midscale market hotel standards and rural markets.

Salary: $23-$36 an hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,840.00 - $74,880.00 per year
