(Contingent upon available funding): 37,200.00 - 57,000.00, Salary Work Schedule: M-F 8:00-5:00 with frequent nights/weekends and some travel as required Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Coordinate activities related to attracting high-quality students to the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) by working closely with the CEAT Manager of Scholarship Programs, CEAT Deans, Director of CEAT Student Services, OSU Admissions and Enrollment Management, CEAT School Units, High Schools, Community Colleges, STEM Academies and Prospective Students and parents.
Serve as liaison to the Offices of Enrollment Management and Undergraduate Admissions to ensure effective management of the recruiting process. Coordinate recruitment activities and strategies with CEAT Student Services.
Serve as liaison to the CEAT school heads to actively recruit qualified students for each CEAT major. Coordinate visits to high schools and community colleges and personal visits with parents and students or groups of parents and students. Provide advice on academic programs, major selection, scholarships, financial aid, enrichment programs and career opportunities.
Coordinate CEAT involvement in all University and College sponsored events that bring student populations to the OSU campus or offsite locations; including high school and junior college career days, college fairs, alumni banquets, STEM fairs and CEAT Discovery Day summer camp programs. Attend events associated with targeted schools and programs such as OSSM and Pre-engineering Academies in the recruitment of Prospective Students.
Work closely with CEAT Marketing, OSU Admissions and OSU Enrollment Management to develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing and communication plan to attract and engage high-quality Prospective Students from first contact until the beginning of classes. Focus on enrollment yield will be of high priority.
Serve as advisor and manage the CEAT Student Ambassador Program. Work with Recruitment Specialist to coordinate their activities in the promotion of the college. Other duties as assigned. Extensive travel within and outside the State of Oklahoma to visit Prospective Students, high schools, community colleges, and special recruiting events. Work hours may frequently be outside the normal 8 am to 5pm workday, including some weekends and overnight trips.
Ability to lift 45 lbs. (boxes of recruiting materials, AV equipment, recruiting event setup, etc.).

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
One year of related experience in marketing, communications, public relations, higher-education recruiting or a closely related field. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and the general public.
Have before hire and maintain after hire, a valid driver's license. A valid driver's license must be maintained for the operation of an OSU vehicle, which is required in the performance of job duties as assigned.
The successful applicant will possess a positive attitude; exceptional written and oral communication skills; and will work effectively with students, parents, faculty and staff of all ethnic groups. Articulate accurate and timely information to Prospective Students and their families.
Ability to develop/produce professional recruitment displays and printed marketing materials that are appealing to Prospective Students They will demonstrate creativity, initiative, teamwork, and the desire to contribute positively to the success of the college.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Mathematics or Science.
Three years of experience in higher education.
