Overview
Purpose Statement:
The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for tactical execution of materials purchases to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw and indirect materials while monitoring Quality, Cost, and Service metrics.
Position Summary:
Responsible for tactical execution of materials purchases to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw and indirect materials while monitoring Quality, Cost, and Service metrics. This includes site level supplier relationship management, purchase order generation and delivery, receiving/warehousing and accounting follow-up, inventory control, and regulatory paperwork management.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for site level raw and indirect material purchase order creation
Fosters healthy site level tactical supplier relationships.
Manages site level raw and indirect material inventories.
Processes all site level inbound receiving paperwork for FDA and SQF purposes.

The position has Food Safety Responsibilities.

Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
A college degree is desired, but not required.
Food andor beverage experience is desired, but not required.
