This position serves as the primary coordinator of special guests of the President and First Cowboy in the University House and assisting in special event planning of the University House.
Required flexible schedule including some night and weekend events.
Must be able to work in a standing position for a long period of time (up to 5 hours). Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

High School/GED
Three years of related experience working as an Event Planner and/or in hospitality industry. Post-secondary education may substitute for experience.
Must be proficient in MS Office, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant or related field.
Event management experience
Club management experience or management in a private club setting
A working knowledge of food, labor, and inventory controls
