Job Description
MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for Coordinator, North America Communications. Based in New York Office and reporting to the Director, North America Communications, this person will support the Communications department by supporting the development and execution of influencer, media, and social media strategies enhancing MAKE UP FOR EVER’s online presence.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain updated contacts for beauty, fashion, film, & media managers, team executives, celebrities, agents, publicists and other representatives.
- Assists with copywriting and editing brand press materials and collateral (i.e., Pro and Influencer mailing boxes and collateral, press materials, event collateral, etc.)
- Assist Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing with administrative responsibilities including payment processing, contracts and invoice tracking Curate and manage invites for influencer and PR events, maintain rsvp lists, track attendance at events and prepare talent reports post event.
- Support with planning and execution of events with attention to detail
- Coordinate all departmental product forecasts, orders, inventory, and PR send outs
- Assist Associate Manager, Communications with product seeding logistics including creative briefing, mailing house correspondence, and vendor communication
- Assist with building strategy decks, maintaining team databases, creating and completing departmental reports
- Assists Media Manager with brand content strategies (TikTok)
- Maintain an understanding of influencer marketing landscape, staying on top of trends and implementing changes as needed
- Review all materials prepared by Copywriter for grammatical errors
- Support solutioning of obstacles for North America Communications department
- Support team in executing ad hoc tasks, such as slides for meetings (Sephora, internal leadership, budget, etc.)
- Attend meetings and cascade information to team members
- Work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
- Complete all work within allocated budgets
- Ensure consistency in communication timing and messaging between all team functions
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- 2-3 years’ experience in beauty PR, Social or Influencer space.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple functions, handling multiple priorities at once
- Experience in influencer marketing, preferably beauty, with the ability to curate and source on-brand talent
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
- Experience with paid social media in support of influencer campaigns
- University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Excellent social, verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
