Job Title: Coordinator, Imports and Logistics
Reports To: Manager of Imports
Location: Novato, CA
Territory: N/A
Position Type: Regular, F/T with benefits –Non-Exempt
Salary: $60k-$75k
Overview
Supports and coordinates imports and logistics functions in clerical and administrative capacity.
Responsibilities
Logistics= 100%

• Serves as administrative support staff for the Sr. Manager of Logistics and Distribution, Import Manager and

Import Specialist.

• Support Lead processor of customs imports paperwork (commercial invoice documents and data for customs

brokers, i.e. categorizing shipments by the tariff coding system) for US Wholesale, US Digital and Canada while
ensuring all shipment documentation is in compliance with customs rules and regulations.

• Maintain and support all reporting and data related to import freight for the finance department.

• Process internal requests for logistics data and reporting, both periodic and ad-hoc

• Maintains clear communication with the Import Manager to ensure that delays in imports are reviewed with the

Import Manager for swift resolution.

• Serves as administrative backup to Imports Manager and Sr. Manager of Logistics and Distribution as needed.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
  

Position Requirements/Qualifications

• One or more years of operations related support (customer service, supply chain, inventory management, buying

office, import/export, logistics, and finance).

• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required.

• Self-motivated, proactive and solution oriented.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to

detail and accuracy.

• Proficient in Excel with the ability to manage large sets of data.

• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook. Familiar with SAP a plus.

• Effective communications skills across all functions and levels of personnel.

• Good judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle

work-related stress is required.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
