Position Summary:
A leading manufacturer in the chemical industry is looking for a new Continuous Improvement Manager. Looking for a highly-motivated individual, this role will lead lean initiatives and champion TPM at the plant-level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Continuous Improvement program that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to define improvement projects, set objectives, develop project plans, and oversee successful execution.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, including but not limited to SMED, Gemba Walks, 5S, Kaizen, etc.
- Train and mentor employees at all levels of the organization on Lean Six Sigma principles and tools to foster a culture of Continuous Improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Continuous Improvement role, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams, as well as work independently.
