Job Description
Highly motivated, qualified and client service-oriented Civil Designer specializing in Infrastructural Development
- Collaborate on site design efforts for various projects
- Participate in quality control activities
- Interact and communicate effectively with design team members, clients and other agencies
- Planning and preparing designing site improvement drawings for utility plants
- You will be accountable for meeting deadlines, a high degree of accuracy in drawings, and following standards
- Experience working with clients on assigned projects/task orders.
- Prior history of meeting deadline deliverables on a defined project schedule
- Experience drafting and designing projects for the following, a plus:
- Power generating facilities
- Dam and dikes
- Repair and improvements of infrastructure
- Facility and asset maintenance, repair, and new construction (light industrial and commercial)
- Environmental (stormwater drainage maps and spill prevention drawings)
Position Requirements
- Associate Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in site/civil and infrastructure engineering design
- Good decision making skills, flexibility, focus on quality and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently on project design tasks.
- Experience with Raster (tif or cit) image software incorporation into native CAD files such as Descartes or similar software
- Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and Power Point)
Compensation -Commensurate with experience
