- Develop/define project plan outline to include scope, objectives, timelines, and budget. Identify and allocate resources, including support members, equipment, and materials. Create risk management plan to anticipate and address potential issues.
- Assembly, define roles & responsibilities of, and motivate/lead project team to achieve goals.
- Establish clear communication channels with project members to include regular project progress updates with project members & management including any roadblocks or challenges.
- Develop project schedule with realistic timelines, monitor (adjust as needed), and identify/communicate delays promptly.
- Define & manage project scope while handling project scope changes by assessing impacts and escalating necessary approvals.
- Ensure that all project deliverables are completed satisfactorily, conduct project review while addressing areas of improvement, and document/share lessons learned for future projects.
- Work with manufacturing teams and Continuous Improvement teams on projects including but not limited to LEAN tools, standardization, cultural changes, and performance improvement.
- This position requires 1-3+ years of industry experience in a field related to manufacturing Operations
- Will consider recent college graduates
- Previous project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in Technical (Engineering, Math, Science) or related technical field. Non-degreed candidates with additional direct related operations experience will be consider in lieu of degree requirement.
- Experience working in and/or developing production systems in an OEM setting is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience leading projects and processes involving cross functional teams.
- Certifications in Project Management Methodology, Lean, and Six-Sigma (Green Belt Minimum) preferred.
