We are seeking a skilled and organized Construction Assistant to join our team. As a Construction Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our construction team and assist with various tasks to ensure smooth project coordination and office management.
```Responsibilities```
- Assist with project coordination, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining project files
- Perform general office management duties, such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and organizing office supplies
- Enter orders into the system accurately and efficiently
- Provide clerical support, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Assist with personal assistant tasks for the construction team as needed
- Maintain a high level of organization to ensure efficient workflow
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking
- Use Microsoft 365 to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and vendors
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role preferred
- Proficient in using QuickBooks for financial tasks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of construction industry terminology is a plus
